Every page a different picture
Most coloring books pad the page count by printing the same picture twice. Ours never do. Here is what that means in practice.
No duplicate pages, ever
Forty-eight designs means forty-eight different pictures. A child who colours one on Tuesday will not meet it again on Friday.
Single-sided pages
Every design is printed on its own sheet, so a marker that bleeds through cannot ruin the picture on the other side.
Bold lines, big pages
Thick outlines and generous 8.5 by 11 inch pages, sized so a child can fill a shape without fighting it.

Stories made to be read out loud
Our first picture book is on its way. Tired the Otter Is Not Tired is a story for the very young, built around a refrain small children can say along with you, in soft painterly art whose sky darkens page by page.
It is the beginning of a line rather than a one-off, with more in the works.
